We're a small company, producing beautiful leather goods. All our products are designed by us and made by hand in the village of Compstall, at the edge of the Peak District, UK.
Our passion comes from making things we enjoy using and wearing ourselves - and hope you will too. Leather is amazing - it looks great, it's very tactile and it smells fabulous!
Made well and cared-for, good leather will last years, if not decades, making it a sustainable option. Not only that, the patina gained through years of use simply adds to its charm.
We make a variety of items from belts and bags to watch straps and wallets. We do carry some stock but many items are made to order.
Belts are sized to the wearer with just three or five holes (customer choice) and finished to the correct length (no flappy end). Watch straps are bespoke, ensuring they fit watch and owner perfectly and colours and style complement the timepiece.
We predominantly use leather from two Italian tanneries - Walpier and Carlo Badalassi - because we believe they provide some of the best leathers in the world.
We use vegetable tanned leather - made with natural tannins rather than harsh chemicals - for its superior durability, the beautiful way it ages and more eco-friendly credentials. It also lends itself to burnishing (the polishing of the edges) making it well suited for wallets, belts and watch straps.
We believe it's important to do the right thing. Where possible, we source accessories and tooling from the UK. We aim to re-use packaging where possible and use recycled, recyclable and natural products.
We're usually hidden away in our workshop. But now and again, we appear at local festivals and fairs where we love meeting our customers.
